Asst. Professor - Dentistry teaches courses in the discipline area of dentistry. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Dentistry provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Dentistry typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. YOU! Whether you have experience or are a new student looking for your first opportunity, Lumio has a place for YOU. Our ideal Dental Assistant is comfortable being shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors and delivers exceptional chairside care for all of our valued patients.
Hours: Monday- Thursday 8AM -5PM

- Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
- Record treatment information in patient records
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
- Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
- Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
- Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
