Asst. Professor - Industrial Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of industrial engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Industrial Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Industrial Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Research assistant will help in developing a finite element model using ANSYS software to study the hemodynamics and nanoparticles endothelial cell interaction. Assistant will also help with image processing (e.g. converting STL image to a CAD model).
This position is for the Winter 2024 term and may continue in the Summer 2024 term. Hours are flexible.
