    Our law firm has a full-time family law associate attorney position available and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team! We are a fast-paced, boutique family law firm looking for an associate attorney to assist our firm with providing legal counsel and representation to clients.
    You’ll be responsible for performing legal research, writing, all aspects of litigation, and keeping client files up to date. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, be self-motivated, detail oriented, able to multi-task with the ability to track and complete many items simultaneously and have great customer service skills.

    Requirements:

    • Completion of a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
    • Successful completion of the Ohio Bar Exam.
    • Proven work experience as a family law associate, ideally with 2-3 years.
    • Ability to work with other attorneys and support staff to best serve clients’ needs.
    • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high- volume environment.
    • Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail.
    • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills are required in order to work with clients, support staff and other attorneys.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement documents.
    • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel to clients.
    • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and effectively negotiate on behalf of clients.
    • Prepare for and attend depositions of the client and opposing party.
    • Communicate with other attorneys, support staff and clients to ensure cases are handled zealously and efficiently.
    • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for others to reference in the office.
