Asst. Professor - Legal Support teaches courses in the discipline area of legal services. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Legal Support provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Legal Support typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Position Summary: The Legal Support Analyst and Contract Manager provides support to general counsel team and other district staff by managing the review of negotiated contracts and collecting and analyzing records for litigation and claims resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or related
Experience:
Seven (7) years successful experience in the legal field, or similar areas of work
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
