Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Overview:
We are seeking Associate Arts Teachers to work with our Summer Program for students ages 5-12. Program dates are July 8-19 and July 29-August 9, Monday through Friday, 9am-Noon and 1-4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assigned classroom.
- Follow the directions of the primary teacher.
- Assist the students in a performance at the end of each summer program.
Skills:
- Experience in music, dance, art or theater.
- Ability to work effectively with students ages 5-12.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate students.
- Experience in classroom management.
