Bowhead is seeking to network with licensed teachers in the State of Indiana to join our team for the Science & Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) effort available at NSWC Crane, IN.  These STEM Program Teachers will be responsible for teaching students aged K-12 in both in and out of school STEM programs.  

The STEM Program Teacher(s) will facilitate an overview of Crane technologies which will conducting tours of the Crane Division.  The STEM Teachers will provide guidance in the technologies and applications that have been developed and are the base of the curriculum.  The STEM Teachers also assist in the development of curriculum for STEM programs sponsored by NSWC Crane.

• Bachelor's degree in Education is required however, a Master's degree is preferred.
• Must be a Licensed teacher with an active certificate from the State of Indiana
• Additionally, experience will be required upon contract award and updating
• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team 

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
