Moeller offers a comprehensive, college preparatory curriculum which includes over 30 Advanced Placement/College Credit Plus courses, as well as courses in visual and performing arts, world language, business, and information technology.
Moeller is seeking a full-time Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic, dedicated, and collaborative faculty. Starting in August 2024, the successful candidate will teach departmental offerings from introductory to advanced levels.Selected Duties- Develop interactive, intellectually engaging lessons in alignment with curricular and student goals.
- Analyze assessment data to monitor teaching strategies in relation to student success. Collaborate and assist intervention specialists in providing differentiated instruction per students’ IEP/SP.
- Provide substantive and timely feedback to student and parents on academic progress via our learner management system: MoeCampus.
- Integrate technological tools, such as Geogebra, Desmos and TI-84, to support effective instruction in alignment with ISTE standards.
- Participate in departmental Professional Learning Communities and attend educational conferences/workshops to maintain and improve content, pedagogical and/or technological knowledge.
- Serve as a mentor group teacher in our House System, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Candidates will possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and hold an Ohio Teacher Certification (or be license eligible) as a Mathematics teacher 7-12. Ability to teach a science course or in STEM-related areas is a plus.
- Candidates will have classroom teaching experience, be a lifelong learner, and possess a comprehensive understanding of best practices for educating adolescent boys.
- Ideal candidates will be dynamic, personable, energetic individuals who work well with high school students and their families and will be able to help foster the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth of each student. Additionally, they will possess a desire to support the academic vision and mission of Archbishop Moeller High School: Catholic. Marianist. Forming Our Students into Remarkable Men.
Compensation, Benefits and HiringSalary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a robust benefits package including paid vacation, personal days, paid holidays, healthcare, dental, FSA, 401K option with employer contribution, graduate school tuition reimbursement, tuition remission, and paid lunch program.
