This is a contract role for a Mathematics Tutor. The Mathematics Tutor will be responsible for providing on-site tutoring services in the Tyler based office. The day-to-day tasks of the Mathematics Tutor include tutoring students in mathematics, conducting online ACT/SAT prep classes in person in the office and virtually, and effectively communicating complex mathematical concepts and test strategies to students.

• Strong Mathematics and Algebra skills
• Experience in tutoring and online tutoring
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of standardized tests such as ACT/SAT
• Experience working with high school students
• Ability to implement the Capstone test prep curriculum in an engaging way
• Patience and adaptability in working with diverse learners
• Available on Saturdays and weeknights

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 6 per week

Schedule:

• After school
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
