We are a tea house, elixir bar, organic food cafe, event space, art hall, and even have a 1,400 sq ft studio where we hold weekly classes including yoga and meditation. Our lovely cafe is full of lush plants, nourishing food and drinks, and community events. We serve the cleanest food in town with 100% organic farm-to-table ingredients. JOB DESCRIPTION

Come be a part of our family! We are looking for a part-time employee to help with our food preparation and be a creative force for our Ayurvedic menu offerings. We would like a hardworking and responsible person with flexible hours and weekend availability. Food prep shifts are in the morning from 8-11am, and would be 2-4x/week. Must also be available Mondays from 12-6pm for food prep. We are searching for someone who is passionate about health wellness, preferably familiar with ayurveda and herbals, and is a friendly and welcoming presence. Nutritionally-focused food preparation experience is a must.

Responsibilities would include:

• Efficiently preparing a variety of food to be served during the day
• Recipe creation
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Consistent communication with our kitchen manager and other staff

Qualifications:

• Punctual, reliable, and responsible
• A team player, and can pitch in when needed
• Able to keep things looking clean and tidy
• Has attention to detail and is a fast learner
• Has a strong work ethic and is proactive
• Able to work on your feet for 6 hours
• Restaurant culinary experience required
• Food handlers certification required
• Basic knowledge of nutrition, ayurveda, herbalism preferred

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
