Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an As-Needed Piano Delivery Specialist. As a vital part of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of pianos to our valued customers. This position is on-call, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to our customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload pianos onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
• Navigate delivery routes efficiently and in a timely manner, considering traffic and weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, address inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation and delivery activities.
• Report any delivery issues, damages, or delays promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, ensuring it is equipped with necessary tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in piano delivery or a related field is preferred.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy pianos.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work on-call hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safe and secure delivery of pianos.
