As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit. Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient.
Recent experience in an acute setting preferred.
Graduate from high school or its equivalent.
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of California.
Strong ability to manage numerous tasks and people at the same time is frequently required to perform the essential functions of this job. Strong time-management skills are frequently utilized to prioritize tasks that present themselves throughout the course of the shift.
Good interpersonal skills.
Current Basic Life Support CPR certification.
