Clancy School is looking for a Paraprofessional to serve in the Special Education area as well as general education area. The position is for the current school year. Successful candidates will work with children in Kindergarten through 4th grade in varying capacities. School experience is helpful but not necessary. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.'

Responsibilities

• Assist the special education teacher in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher regarding student needs and achievements.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that promotes the development of social skills and independence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
