Attorney is responsible for using specialized knowledge of national, state, and/or local laws to advise and represent clients and organizations in criminal or civil proceedings and other legal matters. Provides legal advice and counsel in support of business activities and transactions. Being an Attorney researches and interprets existing laws and regulations and anticipated changes to laws to guide informed decisions and reduce risk. Prepares and reviews various agreements, contracts, and other legal documents. Additionally, Attorney represents the organization in litigation, negotiations, and other matters where legal counsel is required. May have a billable hours requirement. Requires a JD. Requires State Bar membership. Typically reports to a manager. The Attorney work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Requirements:

    • 3 years handling insurance defense type matters
    • A willingness to explore early resolution strategies on cases and alternatives to traditional litigation
    • Self-motivated organizational and time management skills
    • A willingness to be responsive to clients when they call or email
    • A willingness to timely report to clients the progress of their cases
    • A willingness to accurately, timely and ethically record your time for billing
    • A willingness to master your deadlines
    • A willingness to better our industry and your work environment
    • Must be technologically confident, comfortable using case management systems and effectively utilize available technology
    • Knowledge of AIM/Perfect Law a plus
    • Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
