Work Location:  Remote (USA)

Length of Temp Assignment:  10 weeks*

Hours:  25-40 per week

Rate of Pay:  $25-30/hour

* Assignment may be eligible for an extension

Universal Audio is one of the most respected names in professional audio and music recording products, with a 50-year legacy of traditional hand-built analog studio equipment, and the industry-standard DSP hardware/software plug-in platform.

We are seeking a junior visual designer to join Universal Audio temporarily.

You will be designing a variety of assets across digital. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, and a solid team player capable of delivering great creativity promptly, with amazing attention to detail. 

Responsibilities:

• Create mockups for web pages and emails.
• Create and organize production assets.
• Create/edit presentations in a variety of formats. 
• Support the advertising and social teams by creating a variety of ad formats and sizes for different mediums (Facebook, Google, etc.).
• Resize web assets for different devices — desktop, tablet & mobile.
• Contribute to upholding and protecting the Universal Audio brand standard of craftsmanship. 
• Participate in weekly critique, review, and planning meetings.

Qualifications:

• ​A strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing your best design work required to apply.
• The ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to effectively take direction and collaborate with creative and art directors, product owners, and other members of the team.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design. 
• Proficiency with design software: Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD). 
• Proficiency with presentation software (PPT, Keynote, Google Slides).
• Basic knowledge of prototyping programs such as Figma is a plus.
• Knowledge of Universal Audio products or music industry knowledge is a plus.
