Audio Visual Technician responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking. Being an Audio Visual Technician coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues. Additionally, Audio Visual Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Audio Visual Technician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The Warehouse Associate works with management and designated associates to furnish equipment when and where it is needed. She or he will be part of a team that oversees all phases of shipping, receiving, storage, maintenance and control of assigned inventory and assets i.e. delivery vehicles.
Duties:
Warehouse
Inventory
· Is properly entered on an order and is tracked in the order entry system.
· Is checked-in and cleaned after every use. All operations checked.
· All losses or damage are immediately reported to management and resolved
· All inventoried AV is in “like new” condition
· Is periodically accounted for and all discrepancies are investigated and resolved
· Schedule and dispatch deliveries and pick-ups of all rental orders
· AV is properly entered and maintained in ERP and order entry systems
· All AV is properly labelled
· All equipment is loaded/unloaded as needed to complete timely delivery and return of all orders.
· Any damaged equipment is transferred to service for repair. Follow up on items in service for return to inventory.
Delivery Vehicles maintance
· All vehicles are clean, road worthy and properly outfitted, fueled and in good working order
Must have a good driving record. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
