Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Audio-Visual System Programmer position is to provide control system programming support for a variety of audio visual (AV) and video teleconferencing (VTC) projects. Maintain responsibility for programming from scratch and updating AMX control system source code using the manufacturer provided programming tools, including NetLinx Studio, SIMPL Windows and System Builder. Create touch panel interfaces using the AMX/CRESTRON programming tools, including TPDesign 4. Maintain knowledge of current manufacturers' hardware and software product lines, including AMX. Perform testing and debugging of programming code. Participate in site installations and end-user training on using the touch panel system. Qualified candidates will possess a strong knowledge and work experience dealing with various commercial AV control systems such as; Crestron, AMX, Extron, BiAmp, Polycom, Tandberg, etc.
