Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

    Key Responsibilities for the Audiologist:

    • Work face-to-face with patients in the clinic, making recommendations for hearing devices
    • Serve in a patient liaison role, working with testing facility to receive and interpret results from audiograms and other tests

    Key Requirements for the Audiologist:

    • 2-3 years of experience as an Audiologist is ideal
    • Must have strong organizational skills
    • Ability to interface with clients and manage appointment schedules
    • Sales experience is nice to have but not required
    • Current and valid Audiologist License
    • Audiology Degree

    Compensation and Schedule for the Audiologist:

    • Target base salary is $70,000-$80,000 UNCAPPED commission
    • Comprehensive benefits plan
