Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are looking for a caring, skilled Audiologist with diagnostic, hearing aid and assistive technology experience for a position in our clinic. Our ideal candidate must be licensed in Oklahoma. We are a dispensing practice focused on providing the highest quality of care and services to our patients.

    Responsibilities:

    Professional interaction with patients, physicians and staff.

    Willingness to go above and beyond to provide quality care and establish rapport with patients.

    Conduct audiometric evaluations and make professional recommendations for appropriate hearing devices.

    Troubleshoot and service hearing aids.

    Must be a team player.

    Qualifications:

    Master’s Degree and/or Doctorate of Audiology from an accredited University.

    Oklahoma State license.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of equipment utilized in evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss. Ability to determine and communicate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations for devices. Experience in fitting and troubleshooting hearing aids in a clinical environment.
