Auditing Project Lead leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities in accordance with organization's policies and standards. Being an Auditing Project Lead prepares auditing reports and suggestions to management. Provides oversight and guidance for auditors and may be responsible for training staff. Additionally, Auditing Project Lead ensures standard auditing practices are followed. Requires a bachelor's degree. May sometimes require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)credential. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Auditing Project Lead supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Auditing Project Lead typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     The Auditing and Monitoring Program Supervisor is responsible leading the internal auditing and monitoring program. This individual will strengthen compliance with internal testing of policy and procedure management. 
     

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Oversee internal auditing and monitoring to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and report monthly results of internal auditing and monitoring activities to be distributed with internal stakeholders and executive management.
    • Maintaining version control of policies and procedures, including coordinating the production of documentation.
    • Conduct the necessary research to develop internal policies and procedures that will support the company and regulatory compliance.
    • Assist in the development and supervision of internal auditing and monitoring programs.
    • Manage the tracking, review and updating of policies and procedures; supporting the owners of the documents with their review; ensuring the documentation is submitted to the approving committee appropriately; and working with relevant staff to ensure timely publication of approved documents.
    • Acts as internal administrator for associated software platform(s) used to manage policies and procedures.
    • Works closely with manager and Training department to properly roll-out new and updated policies and procedures.
    • Maintain internal exclusion screening procedures as assigned.
    • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with staff to ensure consistent application of regulations and policies, advising/briefing/training staff as necessary.
    • Other Projects as required.
    Minimum Qualifications:     
    Education:      Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalent.
    Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:
    • DME Industry experience, preferably in a regulatory capacity
    • Experience in internal audit and monitoring.
    • Analytical skills refer to your ability to break down a problem, gather facts, and find a logical solution.
    • Demonstrated ability to use Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with Medicare, State Medicaid and commercial insurance   billing and reimbursements as related to DME
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer relation skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player).
    Pay no less than $49,387/annually.
