Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management (PM) Task Lead to join our dynamic team. As a PM Task Lead ask Lead will be responsible for HRC system sustainment, coordinating project activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
· Experience in project management, with a focus on leading integrated project tasks or workstreams.
· Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies is preferred.
· Develop detailed task plans, schedules, and resource allocations in coordination with project managers and team leads. Ensure that tasks are aligned with project objectives and contribute to overall project success.
· Experience in system design, development, and sustainment concepts. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Lead the execution of integrated project tasks according to established plans and timelines. Monitor task progress, identify deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions as needed to keep tasks on track.
· Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with integrated project tasks. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues that may impact task delivery.
· Experience with IT system sustainment, system operations, and maintenance.
Requirements:
· Collaborate with project stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and external partners, to ensure alignment of task activities with project goals and objectives. Provide regular updates on task progress and status to stakeholders.
· Implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that task deliverables meet project requirements and quality standards. Conduct reviews and inspections as necessary to verify compliance with project specifications.
· Manage changes to task scope, schedule, and requirements in accordance with established change management processes. Assess the impact of changes and adjust plans accordingly to accommodate new requirements or priorities.
· Capture lessons learned from task execution and incorporate them into future project planning and execution processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance project performance and efficiency.
· Provide leadership, guidance, and support to task team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
· Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Ten plus years’ experience with DOD or Army hardware/software and applications development, installation, maintenance, operation, and testing efforts.
· Ten plus years’ experience in monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective actions for IT systems.
· Experience with Risk Management Framework, vulnerability assessments, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) reporting, and cybersecurity problem resolution.
· Ten plus years’ experience in planning and engineering enterprise IT solutions.
· Ten plus years’ experience in supervising and managing IT support personnel.
· PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
