Auditing Project Lead leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities in accordance with organization's policies and standards. Being an Auditing Project Lead prepares auditing reports and suggestions to management. Provides oversight and guidance for auditors and may be responsible for training staff. Additionally, Auditing Project Lead ensures standard auditing practices are followed. Requires a bachelor's degree. May sometimes require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)credential. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Auditing Project Lead supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Auditing Project Lead typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.
Under minimal supervision, provide direction and planning of Substation Engineering design strategy associated with all capital and annual substation projects. Responsibilities include program management of the engineering and design duties of all Capital Projects initiated from EPAC that are associated with asset obsolescence, large capital programs and system reliability-based solution requiring major upgrades to the facilities in an area. Duties will include interaction with regional Manager/Leads and Project Initiators and provide support to bring projects from Initiation to Conceptual while leading the development of overall execution plan. Provides direct oversight and serves as a main point of contact for Engineering activities associated with Equipment Thermal Ratings.
Essential Functions:
Serves as main point of contact for substation design and engineering support for capital projects and annual work.
Develop reporting for Annual Projects Engineering and Construction activities.
Serves as main point of contact for Compliance (e.g. Thermal Ratings) support related to engineering activities.
Coordinate with stakeholders for data required to complete Thermal Ratings activities
Tracks and Monitors monthly Thermal Ratings activities and ensure timely completion by the Local Thermal Ratings Coordinator
Develops engineering strategies for developing the required design deliverables in accordance with the unique needs and non-standard timelines associated with Capital Projects.
Oversees the full suite of Capital and Annual projects from initiation to authorization for execution.
Development of critical engineering and procurement milestones schedules to ensure commitments to Capital Projects ownership is met and to ensure success of detailed engineering and project execution
Responsible for handoff to the project to the regional engineering organizations for detailed design and execution.
Analyzes, tracks and reports on status of Capital Projects work-load.
Coordinate work with Lead Engineers within the regional Substation Engineering Organization and/or works with regional Managers to request resources to support Capital project work.
Develops processes and procedures to document roles and responsibilities between engineering departments and internal Eversource project owners/initiators as necessary to drive consistency, quality and ensure success of the organization in meeting customer’s needs.

Excellent knowledge of electric power system operations, utility regulation and tariffs, applicable governmental and regulatory laws, rules and regulations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent technical experience. MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
Experience:
Minimum of eight (8) years of directly related experience.
Compensation:
Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00 to $125,000.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
