Manpower Engineering a division of ManpowerGroup, working with a global leader in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Looking for an Automation Specialist to work fully onsite, in Rocky Mount, NC. This is a 12-Month Contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion to FTE/Perm.
Job Title: Automation Specialist
Location: Rocky Mount, NC [FULLY ONSITE]
Pay: $35 an hour benefits
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am to 7pm
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects and leads small project teams.
- Demonstrate good planning, organizing, time management and team participation skills.
- Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work to ensure all the equipment and systems work safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Generate and develop standard operating procedures and job aids to support systems and equipment.
- Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience.
- Familiar with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
- Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
