Description:

- Utilize Sage software to estimate on commercial projects

- Bidding projects

- Calculate cost of construction projects

- Negotiate with supplier

- Perform on-screen takeoffs for quantity verification against subcontractor bids

- Attend meetings with engineers, investors and other agencies involved in projects

- Obtain, update and manage accurate pricing information from data base, contractors and suppliers to utilize cost estimates

- Work with architects/engineers to develop clear project scope during preparation of estimates and develop relationships

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

This GC performs work on mostly local projects. Will do work for retail and restaurant throughout the state and sometimes out of state.
