Job Description
Responsible for managing used and new cars as they move through the Service Department with the assistance of the Shop Foreman and Service Manager. Will use the reconditioning tracker to properly communicate the status of each internal vehicle to the Corporate Fixed Operations Director, General Manager and Service Manager. Will manage the keys for each vehicle while they are in Service and ensure they are kept in one of the three designated key boxes.
Clerical:
o Vehicle information on the invoice
o Correct VIN
o Correct miles
o Correct vehicle make, model, year.
o Proper complaint written on invoice.
o Proper labor type on invoice
o Proper operation code on invoice

o Service Manager signature on the invoice.
o Ensuring the technicians wrote an accurate story on all applicable lines on the invoice.
o Ensuring all parts pricing is correct as it was written on the MPI (multi point inspection)
o Ensuring all labor pricing is compliant with our current labor grid.
o Making sure the invoice is properly coded by the warranty admin when applicable.
o Sending approvals to the GM.
o No vehicle over 5 days in the shop
o Reconditioning tracker updated daily.
o Reconditioning Tracker sent out to the GM and all applicable recipients daily.
o Adding sublets as necessary.
o Ensure all keys are either in the Key track or in one of the two lock boxes in the shop.
o No keys will remain in the Internal Writers desk.
o Ensure internal vehicles are parked in the correct parking area.
