This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, focused on providing top-quality painting services to our customers. As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles receive a flawless and professional paint job, contributing to the overall appearance and aesthetic of our dealership.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces
- Mixes paints and match colors to achieve desired shade and finish
- Utilizes various painting techniques, including airbrushing and using spray gun, to apply multiple coats of paint
- Ensures proper color coverage and consistency for all painted areas
- Inspects completed paint jobs to ensure quality and make any necessary touch-ups
- Manages painting supplies and equipment, including maintenance and cleaning
- Communicates with other technicians and service personnel to coordinate efforts and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Collaborates with body technicians to ensure smooth preparation and painting process for vehicles
- Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines for handling paints and chemicals
- Stays up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in painting techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an automotive painter, preferably in a dealership setting
- Strong understanding of painting techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of color matching and blending techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Skilled in using various painting tools, such as airbrushes and paint guns
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols for handling paints and chemicals
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
