Job SummaryTYLin's East Region is seeking a Senior Project Manager with leadership skills to be a part of the Aviation Line of Business with an Engineering or Architecture background with airside, landside and/or terminal expertise.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage project delivery, including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, meeting budget objectives, communicating and meeting deadlines.
Contributes to winning aviation terminal, airside and/or landside projects as Project Manager or key team member. Assumes the financial, staffing, scope and schedule management responsibilities of that role.
Serves as client contact. Negotiates fees and contracts; manages expectations; and assures client satisfaction related to projects.
Develop action plans for the Engineering group, with tactical plans for targeted pursuits. Specify and achieve target sales goals within designated marketplace.
Contribute to the proposal preparation effort for aviation projects and attend interviews, working with Regional Marketing and Technical staff.
Regularly travels to meet and interact with prospective teaming partners and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or closely-related field.
Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect in DC, MD, VA or WV is preferred.
8-12 years of relevant experience in the industry.
Track record of developing new clients, winning work, and maintaining positive client relationships.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
Well-developed negotiation, proposal and project management skills.
Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.
