Aviation Manager manages overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Develops plans and schedules skill development and training sessions for pilots, crews, and operators. Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Aviation Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Aviation - Parts and Supply Associate

  • POSITION SUMMARY

    The Parts and Supply Associate will interface with maintenance and company personnel, customers and vendors in an efficient and professional manner, and will ensure materials are processed in a consistent, timely manner. In accordance with industry standard procedures, the Parts and Supply Associate will issue, return, reallocate and safely handle aircraft parts, tools, equipment, kits and general shop supplies.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

    (including, but not limited to)

    • Maintain a stock of serviceable aircraft parts.
    • Identify, control, and sort parts, including tagging, preservation and shelf life.
    • Perform incoming parts inspections for correct part number, shipping damage, warranty claims billing and shipping.
    • Control inventory and maintain the parts room in a clean and orderly fashion.
    • Secure approvals and purchase parts; ensure the best economic decision regarding parts purchases and shipping and receiving.
    • Process parts and supply invoices in a timely manner.
    • Track and receive all orders.
    • Perform receiving inspections and comply with the repair station's Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) Program under supervision of the Chief Inspector.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) FOR THIS POSITION

    • Preferred 1-2 years Aircraft Industry Experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to work flexible schedule in order to meet ordering and shipping deadlines when necessary.
    • Keep confidential all company and client information.
