The Role
The Charter Department Manager is responsible for working directly with other Charter managers to help identify, define, document, and prioritize requirements of our charter business complexity. This candidate will report to other managers within the Charter department, and upper management. This is a hands-on position, requiring the manager to learn and perform the duties of the staff they’re supervising.
What is the schedule?
Friday – Monday, alternating between 8 AM – 4 PM and 3 PM – 11 PM each week. Applicants must be able to work holidays. This schedule is firm.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
· Monitor day-to-day sales and operations
· Mentor and coach Flight Coordinators and Sales Representatives in NJ and AZ offices
· Collaborate to analytically explore business and operations problems, develop sales, and track and understand operational issues
· Manage a high volume of continual email traffic while responding in a timely and professional manner
· Learn to use ARINCDirect Flight Operations System (FOS)
Requirements
· Strong aviation background with 3-5 years of FAR 135 experience
· Management experience
· Quality decision making skills
· Self-motivated and self-starter, proactive in learning and career development
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail
