Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bakery Clerk. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, and assisting customers with their bakery needs.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and process transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system
- Provide product recommendations and upsell bakery items to customers
- Ensure the bakery area is clean, organized, and stocked with fresh products
- Follow food safety guidelines to maintain the quality and freshness of bakery items
- Assist with preparing bakery products such as bread, pastries, and cakes
- Package bakery items for display or customer take-out
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food handling and safety
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient bakery operations

Skills:
- Previous experience in a bakery or retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for retail math calculations
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a bakery setting
