Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Bakery Clerk at our Sam's Bakery Store. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring smooth transactions at the cash register.

Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide product recommendations
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Restock merchandise as needed
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment

- Any other duties as needed.

Requirements:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating totals
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with retail math concepts (e.g., calculating discounts, sales tax)
- Comfortable using a cash register and other point-of-sale systems

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.25 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
