    Role Summary:

    1. Order preliminary title reports, flood determination, real estate tax tracking and UCC general searches, review and report any potential issues or discrepancies to the Commercial Lender.
    2. Submit and manage requests for appraisal bids the third-party appraisal management company.
    3. Work with the Portfolio Management Team to ensure the annual review and all supporting documents are forwarded to the participating Credit Unions for sold loans.
    4. Quality review of the monthly loan production report. 
    5. Pre-document(s) review- work collaboratively with the commercial lender to gather all necessary documentation to ensure accurate, complete, and timely loan document requests are submitted to the loan processing team.
    6. Annual review of environmental tracking data for all on real estate collateral.  Compiling a list of critical issues. Working with the lender and supervisor for solutions to correct issue.
    7. Assist with training the Commercial Loan Processors
    8. Incumbent will be responsible to provide quality assurance for SBA loans to ensure they are fully documented and compliant with the SOP under which they were approved.
    9. Monthly submission of the SBA Gateway 1502 report and ensure its accuracy.
    10. Provide assistance to the SBA loan processor/closer.
    11. Monitor the credit union’s compliance in servicing SBA loans.
    12. Ongoing SBA servicing training to become a subject matter expert.
    13. Continuously keep supervisor informed of member and work concerns, as well as assignment status through reporting or meetings.  Offer guidance and supervision in the absence of the AVP of Commercial Loan Servicing to other Commercial Loan Production Assistants or Commercial Loan Processors.
    14. Assist in the creation and review others written procedures for accuracy and detail.

    3. Professional interaction with members and coworkers while maintaining unquestionable integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information is required.
    4. Navigate proficiently in the core operating system (Fiserv DNA).
    5. Solid understanding and the ability to review credit approvals, title reports, organizational documents to ensure adherence with the credit unions lending policy/procedures and regulatory requirements.

    1. Proven business development skills
    2. Thorough knowledge of credit services and other credit union services
    3. Thorough knowledge of lending policies and procedures
    4. Thorough knowledge of business cash flow
    5. Proficient computer skills with collaboration and productivity tools including Windows-based operating systems and office suites (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); spreadsheet applications to organize data used for advanced data analysis; internet; email; and bank software.
    6. Effective oral and written communication skills
    7. Ability to understand small business relationships and provide options that will meet their needs.
    8. Ability to converse with business owners.
    9. Ability to achieve a high sales level in business development and cross sales.
    10. Ability to organize, prioritize and respond simultaneously to multiple tasks and requests.
    11. Ability to work well in and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
    12. Effectively communicate ideas and information, both verbal and written.
    13. Display and maintain courtesy, tact and diplomacy with current and potential vendors, peers and staff.

    Qualifications


    What You Will Need:

    1. Must have the ability to accept instruction, prioritize and respond simultaneously to multiple tasks and requests with minimal supervision and under tight time constraints.
    2. Excellent computer skills using Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Excel, Adobe and Word).
    3. The ability to display initiative and independently learn and apply skills to improve overall job performance.
    4. A strong focus of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
    5. Excellent knowledge of general real estate terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures.
    6. Prefer a minimum of 5 or more year’s clerical/data entry experience and computer proficiency required, a minimum 4 years’ experience working with Laser Pro documentation system.  Or similar experience desired
    7. Professional conduct which includes providing excellent member service, maintain a neat and professional appearance with a positive outlook.
    8. Display leadership values such as mutual respect, trust and dignity and act in the best interest of the Credit Union, always displaying solid ethics and integrity.
    9. Must be willing to attend credit union training sessions, conferences or seminars as approved by supervisor.
    10. Must understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities.
    11. Must have excellent working knowledge and understanding of title reports, appraisals and documentation that perfects the Credit Union’s lien position.
    12. Must have ability to read, understand and communicate deficiencies with legal entity formation documentation.
    13. Other duties as assigned.
