Oversees the 24-hour operation and efficient management of the sterile processing department with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling.

Required Qualifications:

• upon hire: National Certified Ambulatory Surgery Sterile Processing Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution. Or

• upon hire: National Certified Endoscope Re-processor - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or

• upon hire: National Flexible Endoscope Re-processors - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution. Or

• upon hire: National Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or

• upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or

• upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or

• upon hire: National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution. Or

• upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution. Or

• upon hire: National Management in Sterile Processing - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution. Or

• 5 years Experience as a sterile processing Technician or surgical technician/technologist or related leadership experience.

• 3 years rogressively responsible managerial experience in decontamination, sterilization and processing of surgical trays and carts in an acute care or ambulatory surgical setting or related surgical operations managerial experience.

• Healthcare experience.

• Supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Healthcare.
