    We are seeking to hire a Credit Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for preparing loan documents and supporting documentation for all loan types in the Credit Operations department.

    Preferred education and experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus additional bank related training; at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous job specific experience required. Industry recognized job certification recommended.

    Position location: Hybrid- Open to applicants residing in our company footprint. Including states Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin.


    Experience and Skills:

    • Process documentation for commercial, agriculture and consumer loans utilizing LaserPro system. Ensure data integrity during file preparation and take action to correct errors. Includes dates, signatures, and other relevant data.
    • Obtain information related to loan origination including ordering credit; UCC searches; insurance information; flood certifications, etc.
    • Perform necessary loan maintenance including payments, advances, generating client notifications and loan payoff requests. Validate requirements are being monitored and reporting appropriately.
    • Process, record and release collateral liens for UCCs, vehicle titles, and mortgages. May include preparing and reviewing reports daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly, as needed.
    • Process boarding and funding requests for executed loans utilizing bank's core system. Includes scanning document and file retention.
    • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
    • Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
    • To effectively perform the job, must have reliable transportation to travel to and from work and other work-related events, meetings, interactions with clients, etc.
    • Position may require the ability to work before or after normal business hours, including weekends and overnight travel, to meet required deadlines and attend meetings and/or training programs.
