Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled, Professional and customer-oriented Banquet Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Duties:

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service

- Take drink orders from customers and make recommendations based on their preferences

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards

- Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times

- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately using the cash register

- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including daily specials

- Monitor alcohol consumption of customers and prevent over-serving

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or banquet setting is preferred

- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including their ingredients and preparation methods

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments accurately

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure

- Knowledge of retail math is an asset

Pay: $16.80 - $17.80 per hour
