  • About the Team

    You will be part of the Social Media and Content team at Pottery Barn, working in our brand headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Our team drives brand awareness and engagement, amplify brand storytelling, support content creation, and build strategic partnerships for the Pottery Barn brand. The ideal applicant has excellent writing and editing skills, a passion for storytelling, and a deep understanding and love for interior design.

    You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

    • Oversee and grow Pottery Barn's presence across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok)
    • Create and execute strategic, on-brand, high-quality content for our social channels
    • Be responsible for maintaining the brand vision and voice as a lead content creator on the Social Team
    • Work and collaborate with the team to meet rapid turnaround times, capture trending moments, receive feedback, all while keeping a clear, enthusiastic, and positive attitude toward content creation
    • Optimize existing content for different channels
    • Identify and brief opportunities for TikTok, Instagram Stories, and various emerging platforms
    • Identify content trends and produce a consistent stream of helpful and interesting ideas that our audience will find useful
    • Analyze results and optimize future content based on learnings
    • Provide support on strategizing and creating core campaigns to drive conversion

    We're excited about you because...

    • You have 4 years of creative and/or content production experience for a large brand
    • You possess exceptional writing skills and pay close attention to detail, grammar, and tone
    • You're eager to continue to evolve skills in social-first content: mobile creator apps and in-app editing
    • You're proficient in one or many of the Adobe Creative Suite programs
    • You're experienced with content management tools (Spredfast, Curalate, etc.)
    • You have a strong grasp on the current social landscape including platform capabilities, trends, and best practices for each individual major social platform
    • You thrive while working cross-functionally with an array of diverse internal teams
    • You possess strong time management skills and can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • You're scrappy and eager to wear multiple hats when needed
    • You have a passion for all things social media and home decor!
    • You have a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field

    The expected starting pay range for this position is $68,500 -$81,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
