Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs for customers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination of food orders when applicable.
• Promote special events or drink offerings to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, cocktail recipes, and new products to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or related roles in food service or nightlife environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol handling regulations is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Cash handling experience is a plus, along with familiarity in using point-of-sale systems.
• A passion for mixology, fine dining, or nightclub environments is highly desirable.
