Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing evaluations and developing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism. You will work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to implement effective behavioral strategies and promote positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings and in accordance with the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Implement behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of progress
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavior strategies across settings
- Collect and analyze data to measure progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other team members on behavior management techniques
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of ABA and apply this knowledge to inform treatment approaches
Requirements:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and developing behavior intervention plans
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Experience working in a behavioral health or special education setting
