Behavior Analyst conducts psychological/behavioral assessments for assigned patients. Designs, implements and evaluates behavior intervention plans. Being a Behavior Analyst provides ongoing training to clinical staff in the implementation and management of behavior programs. Requires a master's degree in behavioral analysis or related field. Additionally, Behavior Analyst may require certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Behavior Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job Description: The Behavior Analyst conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, reviews data, monitors and evaluates progress, provides parent training and supervises the Behavior Technician/Lead Therapist. The Behavior Analyst is responsible for attending all meetings and appointments pertaining to their child on their caseload for continuity of care. The Behavior Analyst must maintain open communication with outside providers relating to caseload and report to the Executive Director as needed. Must be flexible to work in a variety of settings, adapt to different environments and provide treatment in multiple settings.
