BidWell Behavior provides client-centered and progressive behavior intervention services in collaboration with our clients, their families, and other important members of their advocacy teams. We use the concepts and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with the intention to build socially significant skills such as communication, play, and self-help skills. We strive to learn as much as we can about each client and their family so that we can use their personal interests to guide each session. Our goal is to design engaging programming to help our clients and their families take meaningful and measurable steps towards skill development and independence.
We are actively looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team of qualified providers. We are looking for providers with the following qualifications:
- Completed or attending program towards master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or another related field (required)
- BCBA, BCBA-D credential, or acquiring supervision requirements to become BCBA or BCBA-D (required)
- Can Pass DOJ/FBI background check (required)
- Have a reliable vehicle, CA driver’s license, and up to date auto insurance (required)
- Willingness to commute throughout Butte and Tehama Counties (required)
- Proficient use of technology including tablet and laptop, and G Suite (Google Docs, Drive, Sheets, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate
- Excellent verbal and report writing skills
- Calm, empathic, and patient nature
- The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress
Job responsibilities are as follows:
- Provide clinical supervision to in-home ABA programming under the supervision of the Clinical Director (BCBA)
- Complete and develop initial assessments, behavior intervention design and evaluation, and caregiver training to a variety of clients with insurance or regional center funding
- Train and supervise RBTs with direct programming and caregiver training programs
- Develop and implement individualized ABA programs with clinical oversight and support
- Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
- Operate within time, financial, and other resource constraints
- Remain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
- Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
- Professional attendance including staff meetings, clinical meetings, IEPs, IPPs, etc.
