The Clinical Director for the Psychiatry and Mental Health Institute (PMHI) is a market level role. The Clinical Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership, policy direction, and guiding program development for therapy-based service offerings within our ambulatory and acute care spaces in the Greater Charlotte Market. This role will provide leadership and direction for our therapist and psychologist team members; ensure training and adherence to evidence-based treatment modalities for older children, adolescents, and adults; provide supervision and ensure quality assurance, adherence to legal and ethical regulations for therapy team members; and assist Market and Institute leadership with therapeutic program development. The Clinical Director will also be responsible for agency representation as appropriate and billing requirements to ensure comprehensive service delivery. The Clinical Director’s role will start out as a 0.7 clinical FTE position with 0.3 FTE allocated for administrative responsibilities. FTE allocation will be reviewed as the Institute matures. Clinical work will be consistent with the selected candidate’s area of expertise and training. This role will report directly to the GCM Market Clinical Physician Executive and will be an integral part of the market leadership team.
