Behavioral Health Director jobs in Nevada

Behavioral Health Director oversees the study and treatment of patients with emotional, mental, or psychological disorders. Manages and directs the activities of behavioral health services. Being a Behavioral Health Director ensures all behavioral health operations are in compliance with clinical guidelines. May be responsible for both inpatient and outpatient treatment. Additionally, Behavioral Health Director requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Behavioral Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Behavioral Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
