Job Description: The Director of Behavioral Health (Director) is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, and personnel activities for Behavioral Health Services. The Director develops, plans, and oversees the administration of a range of services for those with behavioral health conditions. This includes establishing, meeting, and continuously monitoring program goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of Community Health Alliance (CHA). Working collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and industry professionals, activities will be coordinated to ensure the provision of a high level of care that operates within an efficient cost structure, with a focus on continuous quality improvement of systems and processes. Current evidence-based practices and guidelines will be utilized to ensure predictable and measurable outcomes. The Director interprets the impact of broad scope organizational change for staff and develops change strategies for successful implementation. The Director ensures integration of ethical standards and core values into all aspects of the program. The Director manages complex interdepartmental and interdisciplinary relationships to assure collaboration and effective/efficient operations within Behavioral Health Services. The Director acts as a consultant to the Chief Medical Office and other Executive Leadership regarding behavioral healthcare and works with other key staff in areas of quality improvement, grants management, strategic planning, research, and other duties as indicated.
