Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Communications - Benefits Analyst for our Fort Worth, TX office.
As a Benefits Analyst, you will play a crucial role in development of employee benefits collateral. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams and your expertise in benefits and plan analysis will ensure that our organization provides accurate benefit details within all employee benefits communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan Document Review
- Thoroughly review various benefit plan documents and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs).
- Interpret complex benefit provisions as needed for completing benefit charts.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Review plan documents to identify value added benefits.
Education/Licensing Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Communications or any combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 3 years in employee benefits.
- General Lines Agent (Life, Accident, Health and HMO) license desired.
