Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing employees regarding benefit options.
- Coordinate open enrollment processes and provide assistance to employees regarding benefits options.
- Conduct market research to analyze and benchmark the organization’s compensation structure against industry standards.
- Evaluate job positions, determining appropriate salary ranges and benefits packages.
- Develop and maintain salary structures and pay scales.
- Collect and analyze compensation data to identify trends and make recommendations of adjustments.
- Generate reports on benefits utilization, compensation trends, and other relevant HR metrics.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies related to benefits and compensation.
- Ensure that policies align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding benefits and compensation matters.
- Conduct educational sessions to help employees understand their benefits options and make informed decision.
- Work closely with HR team, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless administration of benefits and compensation.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as insurance providers, to manage benefit plans effectively
- Address and resolve employee inquiries and issues related to benefits and compensation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in benefits or compensation administration.
- Use Paylocity to manage and track benefits and compensation data efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in benefits and compensation administration.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing overall HR effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience and training.
- 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on benefits and compensation administration.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with varied audiences.
- Self-starter, goal oriented, success driven, professional, able to multitask, and must be a problem solver.
- Must be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with others and maintain confidential information and communications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
