    Job Description

    The Account Manager, Voluntary Benefits is responsible for managing an assigned block of Beneplace Voluntary Benefits clients and developing deep relationships within their accounts. They will work to overcome challenges, drive strong enrollment on voluntary benefit offerings and increase engagement on the perks platform. The Account Manager, Voluntary Benefits will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within their client base and driving cross-sell efforts to increase voluntary benefit offerings and adoption of the perks platform.

    This role can be based in Austin, Orlando, or Miami and is hybrid with 2 days per week in office.

    Essential Functions:

    • Leverage relationships in an assigned set of existing accounts to prospect and close new business opportunities
    • Create and nurture long term relationships with EBG’s most valuable customers
    • Drive retention and growth among our customers by understanding their specific business needs and helping them succeed
    • Utilize resources across EBG and collaborate with others as needed to support customer needs
    • Deliver the EBG value proposition clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences within the Human Resources department of Enterprise Clients
    • Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet quota objectives while working through each opportunity
    • Log activity (phone calls, emails, opportunities, meetings, etc.) in Salesforce.com

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years of experience in a Direct Sales, Customer Success, Relationship Management, Account Management, or similar role
    • Experience in the Insurance industry with ancillary and/or voluntary benefit products is required
    • Experience building and maintaining relationships, while working to increase engagement, renewals and reducing churn
    • Growth mindset through a solutions based selling approach within existing clients
    • Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth company
    • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to reach company, client, and personal goals
    • Holds an active Life and Health Insurance producer’s license or has the ability and commitment to obtain within 90 days of employment
    • Professional experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Persistence, creativity, and an overwhelming desire to succeed
    • Experience working in employee benefits or perks
    • Licensing or knowledge of Property/Casualty
