Nobis has a full-time opportunity for a Billing Coordinator to join the Business Resource Center team in our Concord, NH office to coordinate accounts receivable for State and Municipal projects as well as other accounting tasks related to month-end and financial statements.

Essential Functions:

- Run reports, prepare invoices, and communicate with clients to collect past due invoice payments;
- Work closely with Project Managers to prepare accurate and complete client invoices and maintain records;
- Compile records such as expense reports, receipts, and vendor bills to be submitted with invoices;
Update accounting so- ware (Deltek Vantagepoint) and Excel spreadsheets that accompany invoices;
- Post transactions to accounting records such as worksheets, ledgers, or computer files;
- Prepare weekly financial reports and accounts reconciliation; and
- Effectively present information in one-on-one or small groups to customers, clients, or other employees.
- Other related duties and responsibilities will be assigned.
Position Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- An Associate degree in accounting or business with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Strong Excel experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are needed.
- Internet software knowledge with uploading documents is required and knowledge of how to bookmark PDF files is a plus.
- Strong communication, including writing, speaking, and active listening are necessary skills along with great customer service skills with other employees and external clients.
- Basic math, bookkeeping, and accounting skills will be used daily.
- Organization, time management and prioritizing abilities are necessary to be effective in this position.
- Experience with processing payroll is desired (Paycor a plus), as is experience with accounting software (preferably Deltek).
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance required.
