* The position will be located out of our Moline, IL office (3501 69th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265) for training, but will be moving permanently to our new Eldridge facility (400 S 14th Avenue, Eldridge, IA) this summer*

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our packaging facility billing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in handling invoices, managing order intake processes, invoicing customers, creating bills of lading, and proficiently calculating weight/quantity conversions. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the end-to-end billing process for our packaging facility, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

· Process invoices promptly and accurately, verifying billing information and resolving discrepancies as needed.

· Handle order intake procedures, including data entry and order confirmation to ensure seamless operations.

· Create bills of lading accurately, reflecting the precise details of each shipment.

· Perform weight conversions as necessary, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.

· Collaborate closely with internal teams such as production, logistics, and finance to resolve billing issues and streamline processes.

· Maintain comprehensive records of billing activities, invoices, and related documentation.

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving billing concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a billing or invoicing role, preferably within a manufacturing or packaging environment.

· Proficiency in handling invoices, order intake processes, bill of lading creation, and weight conversions.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.

· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic work environment.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

· Experience with ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a plus.
