Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Billing Manager to join our team. As the Billing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all billing processes. This is a key role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of revenue cycle management.

Duties:

- Manage the billing department and supervise a team of billing clerks

- Oversee the entire billing process, from data entry to submission of claims

- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients or third-party payers

- Review and reconcile billing reports to identify discrepancies or errors

- Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing-related issues or disputes

- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance standards, including SOX requirements

- Implement and maintain billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

- Provide training and guidance to staff on billing processes and software systems

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or 5 plus years of Billing Manager exeperience.

- Proven experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management

- Strong knowledge of coding systems (CPT, ICD-10) and medical terminology

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
