Suwanee Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides short-term post-acute rehabilitation as well as long-term skilled nursing care, Suwanee is a full service care center that brings a personal touch to your experience, no matter what services you require.We admit patients from several nearby hospitals, including Mercy Hospital, PA Presbyterian, and Methodist Hospital.As the Business Office Manager, you will enact the overall Business Office activities as directed by the Administrator, to assure the proper administrative procedures are maintained (in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations). The ideal BOM will have experience in Long Term Care, such as Nursing Home or Assisted Living billing, accounts receivable and be familiar with the Admissions process as well as a strong team player, able to communicate in a firm and professional manner, and be driven to succeed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Financial Prescreening, running insurance verification
- Strong grasp of Medicare process
- MSHO and pre-authorizations
- Medical Assistance understanding and billing
- Working with patients and families on finances and collection money owed
- Collecting patient liability
- Oversees petty cash
- Bills private pay bills
- Streamlines AP to corporate for processing
- Posting cash
- Strong understanding of admissions process
