LynLake Centers for WellBeing is a thriving group psychotherapy and wellness practice with a diverse team of 170 transdisciplinary professionals.
We are seeking a Billing Director to manage all aspects of our revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
This opportunity is an exempt, full-time position working primarily remotely from Minnesota with an estimated weekly commitment of 40 hours per week.

Essential functions
As the Billing Director for LynLake Centers for WellBeing, you will be responsible for leading the Billing Team to achieve and maintain a trauma-informed, successful billing and payment experience for both clients and providers alike.

Essential Duties
? Closely manage LynLake’s billing operations by monitoring visits, coding, charge entry, claim denial resolution, accounts receivable, and client payment experience, in order to maximize collections.
? Work in collaboration with the Operations and Clinical teams to design and enforce all policies and procedures related to revenue cycle operations to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
? Onboard new providers to orient them to LynLake’s billing process and resolve billing for providers who close their practices.
? Educate providers and clients regarding billing policies and procedures and offer times for phone calls and meetings to resolve concerns.
? Compile fee schedules to keep providers informed of contracted rates.
? Focus on accounts receivable to limit loss and maximize provider income.
? Oversee credentialing.
? Oversee service authorization processes.
? Maintain and update LynLake’s Practice Management and Electronic Health Record.
? Monitor the faxing module and banking lockbox to ensure all client and payer payments received are entered properly.
? Monitor and resolve issues with Batch Reports.
? Provide overall direction to work activities of Billing Team members to ensure that revenue cycle management and quality objectives are achieved.
? Establish and monitor effective revenue cycle KPIs and standardized reporting.
? Develop and implement staffing and technology strategies to efficiently and cost-effectively ensure the smooth functioning of revenue cycle management operations.
? Lead weekly meetings with the Billing Team and 2-3 shorter stand-up meetings throughout the week to resolve billing issues quickly.
? As a member of the Leadership Team, help to determine the direction of LynLake development and create and support practice-wide policies and procedures to improve client and provider experience.
Perform other duties as assigned to support LynLake’s mission and values.
Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration or related field
? 7 years of required experience in Behavioral Health medical billing and reimbursement
? 7 years experience managing revenue cycle billing operations for providers and clinicians in Minnesota
? 3 years payer contracting experience
? Expert working knowledge of the entire revenue cycle process
? An in-depth understanding of insurance, behavioral health, and therapy billing
? Strong analytical, financial, and quantitative analysis skills
? Demonstrated track record of progressive leadership positions and skills
? High level of proven communication skills, including written, verbal and conceptual presentation
? Must be able to set priorities, delegate duties, display initiative and be accountable for specific outcomes as well as that of the department as a whole
