Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Billing Coordinator. As a Billing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing and payment processes within our theapy office. This position requires previous experience working with insurance companies and billing procedures, as well as working through aging accounts and the collections process.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement

- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies

- Process payments from patients and insurance companies

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records

- Collaborate with medical staff to obtain necessary documentation for billing purposes

- Coordinte the aging accounts and collection efforts

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Previous experience working with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred

We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
